Our Team

Clients and peers alike recognize the strong technical, trial, and prosecution credentials of Crowell’s IP practitioners. Our team includes industry specialists with degrees in molecular biology, chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, life sciences, pharmacy, as well as other scientific disciplines. Many of our U.S. practitioners have worked as examiners at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and our leadership includes a former acting and deputy director of the USPTO. Our European attorneys are registered to practice before the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

Our litigation teams practice regularly before regional courts across the world, including the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and U.S. District Courts in the United States, and the Benelux Intellectual Property Office, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and the Brussels Court of Appeals internationally.
