Ashley R. Riveira is a counsel in Crowell & Moring's International Dispute Resolution Group and focuses her practice on international arbitration and litigation. For over 15 years, Ashley has counseled clients in investment and commercial disputes involving the mining, energy, logistics and supply chain, hospitality, defense, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Ashley primarily represents clients in disputes between corporations and foreign sovereigns, applying the provisions of investment treaties, host-state laws, and concession agreements. Ashley has extensive experience appearing before tribunals constituted under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA).
In 2017, Ashley was recognized as one of Latinvex’s "Top 100 female lawyers." Ashley is also an active participant in Crowell's pro bono program, successfully representing applicants in asylum cases and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions.
