Camille Degrave is an associate at Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office. He focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial law. Camille has a specific interest in technology and the gaming industry, including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, etc. He is the co-editor of one of the first handheld books relating to the legal aspects of the video gaming industry on the Belgian market.
Before joining Crowell & Moring, Camille worked for several years in a Brussels-based Benelux law firm.
Camille has a master’s degree in law from KU Leuven (2018). During his master studies, Camille was part of the Erasmus Belgica program, for which he studied one semester at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve. Camille also obtained an advanced master’s degree in corporate law in 2019 and a postgraduate degree in corporate finance in 2020.
Camille is a native Dutch speaker and fluent in English and French. He became a member of the Brussels bar in 2018.
Camille is also active in the nonprofit sector. In 2019, he co-founded “Belgian Lawyers for Africa,” a nonprofit that raised over €15,000 in three months to construct water wells in Zambia. In 2020, he co-founded “Road to Glory,” a nonprofit that encourages underprivileged young people to take up kickboxing: a sport in which discipline, self-respect, and solidarity are central.
