David A. Seltzer is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office, practicing in the Mass Tort, Product, and Consumer Litigation Group.

David has significant litigation experience and his practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional commercial and tort litigation. He has spent considerable time working on complex class action matters involving chemical herbicides and medical devices. David has assisted in the management of a complex national product claims process involving thousands of claims, as well as federal court appeals of those claims. David has experience in product liability matters and is currently part of a litigation team working on national medical device litigation.  

David’s pro bono practice includes representation of an El Salvadoran girl seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status to enable her to apply for permanent U.S. residency.

David is a Dean’s List graduate of Tufts University and received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation from law school, David was a judicial law clerk in the Maryland Circuit Courtand spent years in the private practice of both plaintiff’s litigation and insurance and liability defense litigation before joining Crowell & Moring.
