Ellen Moran Dwyer represents employers in the full array of labor and employment matters, including litigating actions filed under federal and state anti-discrimination, retaliation, and related employment laws, as well as employment torts, including defamation, wrongful discharge, and related fiduciary duty claims. She has extensive experience investigating Board-level sexual harassment and other sensitive employment-related issues. Ellen advises employers on prophylactic measures to mitigate risk and remediate such claims and develops and conducts training programs for clients on several substantive labor and employment topics, including sexual harassment;  diversity, equity, and inclusion; and personnel practices and management.

Ellen is chair of Crowell & Moring's Executive Committee and serves as a member of the Management Board. She has been a senior leader at Crowell & Moring for more than a decade and a champion of diversity efforts at the firm and within the broader legal industry as chair of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. In her many leadership roles at the firm, Ellen has both led and participated in the development and execution of the firm’s strategy and business plan, as well as managed and overseen the firm’s offices, practices, and talent.
