Jared Engelking is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Government Contracts and White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement groups.

In his practice, Jared counsels and represents a variety of corporate and individual clients in all phases of white collar criminal and related civil matters. He assists clients in conducting internal corporate investigations and responding to inspector general and congressional investigations. Jared also represents government contractors in procurement fraud investigations, in responding to government audits, ethics and compliance assessments, regulatory enforcement investigations, and bid protests. Jared represents clients in civil and criminal litigation on a wide range of issues, including fraud matters filed under the False Claims Act (FCA) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Jared maintains an active pro bono practice. For one client charged with two counts of second degree assault, Jared and other team members convinced the judge to dismiss one charge and declare a mistrial as to the other. The team then negotiated a favorable outcome for the client.

Jared received his J.D. magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, where he was a member of the American University Law Review and a Legal Rhetoric Dean's Fellow.
