Leslie Castello is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution Group and is based in the Washington, D.C. office.

Leslie focuses her practice on international litigation and arbitration. She has experience representing foreign and domestic clients in Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) and Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) litigation, including victims of terrorism. Leslie also has experience in advising foreign and domestic investors involved in cross-border disputes, including commercial and investment arbitration.

Leslie received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she was managing editor of The Arbitration Brief and secretary of the European Law Association. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Leslie was a law clerk at the U.S. Department of State in the Office of the Legal Advisor for International Claims and Investment Disputes (L/CID), and also interned with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), where she focused on international commercial and investment issues. Leslie received a B.A. in comparative politics and international relations from the University of Central Florida in 2014.
