He frequently addresses matters involving breach of contract, government-directed changes, constructive changes, delays, requests for equitable adjustment, cost allowability, government audits, submitting certified cost or pricing data, procuring commercial products and commercial services, defective pricing, contract termination, prioritization of work under the Defense Production Act and the Defense Priorities and Allocations System, suspension, debarment, dispute resolution under the Contract Disputes Act, and many other areas with aspects unique to government contracting.
Chris represents a diverse range of clients and industries supporting the federal government, in areas such as aerospace, defense, health care, construction, professional services, higher education, and information technology products and services. He has successfully resolved matters involving the Department of Defense, the General Services Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, NASA, the Agency for International Development, and the Department of Energy, among others.
Chris has litigated before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Government Accountability Office, and District of Columbia Contract Appeals Board. He also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution in a variety of forms, including arbitration, mediation, and other binding and nonbinding ADR proceedings.
